Take action for a good cause. Recycle your clothing at cornflowerblue
The Indian team of cornflowerblue pass children on the street each and everyday in Mumbai in desperate need of clothes. Many of them are walking around in rags that expose them. There are also a number of orphanages in Mumbai that need clothing, not to mention the children who attend our English lessons!
So how can you help? Simply send them back!
Once your children have grown out of the clothes, and if there is no one to pass them down to, then post them back to us at:
All we ask is that you post the clothes back at your own expense. This helps to keep our costs down and allows us to put more of our charity funds directly into our projects.
Please consider the importance of this small action. Did you know that in Australia charity bins are overflowing and that opportunity shops receive more than they can sell? cornflowerblue is happy to pay the freight to get the clothes to India. We just need you to send them to us in New South Wales.

Two further kilos will be handed out this week to street kids outside Mahim church which borders on Dharavi - Mumbai's largest slum. These children are only wearing rags and their parents are so down and out most of them just lie there all day and sleep while their kids play in dirt and fend for themselves. 15/4/10
The biggest thank you goes to everyone who made donations. I can't tell you how much this means to us and the kids in Mumbai!

Some clothes were handed out on the 30th November to the children at Mumbai Mobile Creches. We have a couple of photos below. We really need clothing for size 7-10 girls and boys.

The pile of clothes is growing! We received some wonderful donations at our sale in Mumbai. We will be handing out some of the clothes to the children at the English program on 30th November. The remaining items will be going to Goonj - which is all about cloth - renewing, recycling, repairing and re-stitching.
