The Kids Fashion Review 2010 Style Awards were held at the end of July. cornflowerblue was super excited to be nominated for two awards - Best Online Site and Best Eco Product. While we weren't a winner, we loved being involved. Thanks to everyone who voted for us! Fingers crossed for next year.

At cornflowerblue we love to salute people who share the same passion as us. Passion for people and our planet. This week we salute Michael Jackson. Being a busy mum I don't always get to see movies when they first come out but a recent trip to Australia gave me time to watch 'This is it' - the rehearsals of Michael Jackson's last concerts planned for London in 2009. The movie is dedicated to Michael's passion for people and our planet. Despite what you may or may not think of Michael, he was very talented and tried to share his passion for our world with his fans. He believed it was up to each one of to make a change. His song 'Man in the Mirror' is about each one us taking a look at ourselves and starting change with ourselves first. Now is the time we all need to change our heart in favour of our planet. Buy responsibly.
